Who is the best duo in nba history?nba draft lottery

The Best duo in NBA history................

No doubt, Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen

Period!!!

Who is the best duo in nba history?nba lottery ,nba teams

Jordan and Pippen. Even if you took Pippen out of the mix, I would still say Jordan over every other duo.
vince and kidd??? what have they done??????? sorry dude no!!

3rd would be Kobe and Shaq, even though i cant stand them i got to admit they were so dominant and a great duo!!

but yea no doubt the top two were

1. Jordan and Pippen

2. Pettit and Hagan

be easy

D
mj and pip
Bill Russell and Red Auerbach
magic and karim
Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny
Shaq and Kobe

or

Magic and Kareem
Jordan and Pippen

Kobe and Shaq

Kareem and Magic
jordan and pippen. no, i changed my mind. jerry west and wilt chamberlain would have beat anybody else, probably.
Stockton/Malone

Look at the other players on those teams. Stockton and Malone had to do it alone. No other HOF's with them.

Hey that rhymes!~
Stockton and Malone.
Considering the competition,

1. Michael Jordan %26amp; Phil Jackson (6 championships)

2. Bill Russell %26amp; Red Auerbach (9 championships)

3. Bill Russell %26amp; anybody who can score 18 ppg with a 0.55 accuracy (11 championships)

4. Kareem Abdul Jabbar %26amp; Magic Johnson (5 championships)

5. Larry Bird %26amp; Kevin McHale (3 championships)

6. Michael Jordan %26amp; Scottie Pippen (6 championships)

7. Shaquille O'Neal %26amp; Phil Jackson (3 championships)

8. Tim Duncan %26amp; Greg Popovich (4 championships)

9. Moses Malone %26amp; Julius Erving (1 championship)

10. Wilt Chamberlain %26amp; Jerry West (1 championship)
definitely jordan and pippen
yea jordan and pippen are the best 6 championships
Jordan/Pippen

Malone/Stockton

I don't know that Duncan/Robinson (twin towers) was ever really a duo because their championship was on a pretty stacked team (Sean Elliot, Mario Elie, and Avery Johnson).
jordan and pippen.
1. MJ/Pip

2. Petit/Hagan

3. Stockton/Malone

4. Kareem/Magic

5. Kobe/Shaq

Greatest backcourt in NBA history?

Which NBA team today has the best backcourt in the NBA?

Greatest backcourt in NBA history?nba salary

Greatest backcourt in NBA History would be Joe Dumars and (sad to say) Isaiah Thomas.

Right now, it would be Baron Davis and Monta Ellis. They're the unstoppable backcourt duo.

Greatest backcourt in NBA history?nba jerseys ,nba teams

My answer to your first question - Magic Johnson and Dennis Cooper. An excellent combination of leadership and defense in the backcourt. This tandem helped the 80's showtime Lakers reign at a time when the NBA was its most competitive.

For your second question - being a Lakers fan, I'd have to go with Kobe and Fish, of course we can't ignore Billups and Hamilton or even Alston and T Mac
Let me point out this little known fact:

Redd and Williams from the bucks are the highest scoring backcourt in the NBA.
Walt Frazier and Earl Monroe was a good back court.
its probably MO.will and M.REDD of the BUCKS
gsw, baron davis and monta ellis

sas, tony parker and manu ginobili

det, chauncey billups, richard hamilton

atl, mike bibby, joe johnson

mil, mo williams, michael redd

njn, devin harris, vince carter
Isaiah Thomas and Joe Dumars were pretty good, now I like the Baron and Monta.
Mike bibby and joe johnson

Tony Parker and Manu Ginoibli

One of those pairs
the pistons! mr.big shot and rip! who has a better backcourt than that!
Talk about the question not matching the title.
jason kidd and kobe bryant

team usa

a better one would be cp3 and kb4

or steve nash and kb4
Any backcourt that DOESN'T involve Michael Jordan!

MICHAEL JORDAN SUCKS!
NBA History: The Showtime LAkers - Norm Nixon and Magic Johnson

Today: The Denver Nuggets: AI and Melo
Any backcourt that involved Michael Jordan!

Take your 5 in NBA history?

If I had to pick 5 players who you could actually envision on the court together or an actual NBA game from the pages of NBA past and present my all time starting 5 who would be...(drum roll please)

Center.......Bill Russell

Forward....Tim Duncan

Forward....Larry Bird

Guard........Michael Jordan

Guard........Magic Johnson...

get this...this team would be ready for anyone...they defend the interior, they have outside shooting, and combined this is probably as good a group that you can come up with that has a high basketball IQ as well as the talent to go with it...they know how to win, they have won a total of 28 NBA championships...I dare anyone to come up with a 5 to top this?

Take your 5 in NBA history?nba salaries

Center: Wilt Chamberlin

Forward: Karl Malone

Forward: Chris Mullin

Guard: Micheal Jordan

Guard: Jason Kidd

I picked it like thing because Wilt and Kidd are two of the best passers at their position ever, Karl and Mike can score with Mullin knocking down jumpers but not needing the ball everytime down like Bird will. You have to remember there is only one ball to go around.

Bench

G: Bob Cousy

G: Jerry West

G/F: Oscar Robertson

F: Kevin Garnett

F: Bob Mcadoo

C: Shaq

C: Dwight Howard (He's a beast already)

Take your 5 in NBA history?nba playoff ,nba teams

Starters-

PG- Pete Maravich or Bob Cousy

SG- Jordan

SF- Bird

PF- Russell

C- Shaq in his prime

I'd move Russell down to PF just because he was 6'9", and I want my center over 7'.

And I took Shaq because while he wasn't the most versatile center, nor necessarily the most skilled, he could out muscle ANYone who got in his way. Even still he's fouled on purpose, as the only way to stop him.

Bench-

Magic Johnson

John Stockton

Bernard King

Kareem Abdul Jabbar

Oscar Robertson

Tim Duncan

Patrick Ewing

Jerry West

Oh, and I'd get that girl Alison who answered this question to.. I dunno, I'd think of something for her. I want THAT girl on my team.
jerry west (point guard)

michael jordan (shooting guard)

Kobe bryant (Small forward)

dirk nowitksi or however u spell it (PF)

Shaquille Oneal (Center)

wilt chamberlain good but hes not strong and against adversity he tends to lean back. look at the old tapes and see him against russel i think. shaq is the best center of all time
Center.......Shaq

Forward....Bill Walton

Forward....Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Guard........Michael Jordan

Guard........Larry Bird

My bench would be -

Joe Dumars

Denis Rodman

Tim Duncan

Wilt Chamberlin

Magic

You don't even have a bench, so quite obviously my team would kick your teams bum out of pure tiredness. Hahaha! Still want Steve Nash on my bench too and Hakeem Olajuwon, Dr.J and Karl Malone too. ;) I know, I like to cheat at stuff like this. It's all in fun right?
Shaq

Duncan

Pippen

Jordan

Nash
Center.....Wilt Chamberlain

Forward.....Bill Russell

Forward.....LeBron James

Guard.....Michael Jordan

Guard.....Oscar Robertson
Center- Wilt

PF- Malone

SF-Bird

SG-Jordan

PG-the big O

bench

Center- Hakeem

PF- Moses Malone

SF- Rick Berry

SG- George Gervin

PG- Pistol Pete........
C-Kareem

F-Russell

F-Bird

G-Jordan

G-magic
Joe Dumars on your bench, huh? Interesting!

Well my team, starting / bench

C- Russell / Shaq - Shaq will tire easily, big Bill will take the bulk .They'll defend the interior and dunk on your ***.

PF - Chamberlain / Garnett - Scorers %26amp; great rebounders, Garnett may have to keep the seat warm for Chamberlain

SF- Bird / Nowitzki - Here's your outside shooters, "RAIN DROPS"

SG - Jordan / Kobe - Scoring machines, 'nuff said.

PG - Pistol Pete Maravich / Nash - Can you say "Play Makers", they know too well how to read the court.
1: Micheal jordan
Julius Erving

Isaih Thomas

Michael Jordan

Kobe Bryant

Lebron James

Sorry, not really familiar with all of there positions!
Are u looking for competition or an answer? Sounds to me more like a competition.........Anyways I don't care how many championships combined these guys have, none of them together as a team so why does it matter?

Here's my starting five even though I like yours.....

PG - Pete Maravich

SG - Michael Jordan

SF - Bernard King

PF - Larry Bird (played PF also)

C - Wilt Chamberlain

Bench - Duncan, Bryant, Gervin, Thompson, Shaq, Frazier, West, Wilkins
Here is my 5:

Wilt Chamberlain

Bill Russell

Larry Bird

Michael Jordan

Bob Cousy
C-Bill Russell

F-Karl Malone

F-Larry Bird

G-Michael Jordan

G-Magic Johnson

1-Julius Irving

2-Kobe Bryant

3-Jerry West

4-Elgin Baylor

5-Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

6-John Stockton

7-Shaquille O'Neal
Center- Wilt

PF- Russel

SF- Bird

SG- MJ

PG- Oscar Robertson

bench

PG- Magic Johnson

SG- Elgin Baylor

SF-Julius Erving

PF- Bob Pettit

C- Kareem Abdul Jabar
Center...................... Wilt Chamberlain

Power Forward........ Karl Malone

Small Forward......... Scottie Pippen

Shooting Guard....... Michael Jordan

Point Guard.............. John Stockton

OK think about that i got the two greats teams together on one team John Stockton and Karl Malone were all most unstoppable tell they ran it to Pippen and Jordan but wait i got them on the same team so you take that and combine it Wilt Chamberlain you got your self an unstoppable team.
PG Johnny Stockton

SG Michael Jordan

SF Scottie Pippen

PF karrem Abdul Jabar

C Shaq daddy
you got them all right but take out tim duncan and put lebron james this would be an undefeated team
All right, check this five out.

Center...................... Bill Russell, Boston Celtics

Power Forward........Larry Bird, Boston Celtics

Small Forward.........Julius Erving, Philadelphia 76ers

Shooting Guard.......Michael Jordan, Chicago Bulls

Point Guard..............Magic Johnson, Los Angeles Lakers

That's untouchable. Can you even argue with that? Magic would find anybody who's open, MJ would be scoring from anywhere, Dr. J would be dunking over everybody, Larry Legend would be dishing and blazin' threes over anyone, and Bill Russell would block everyone, who comes inside.
C- O'NEAL

F-DUNCAN

F-MAGIC JOHNSON

G-MICHAEL JORDAN

G-JASON KIDD
Center...Wilt Chamberlain

Forward...Tim Duncan

Forward...Larry Bird

Guard...Michael Jordan

Guard...Pete Maravich

Instead of going with a "true" point guard, I went with the guard duo of Maravich and Jordan. Both played point guard at one time in their respective careers. I like the original team alot also, but what can I say, I'm a die hard Maravich fan.

Have there been any player in NBA history to have a ROY-MVP trophy in the same season?

Just Asking.

* ROY - Rookie of the Year

MVP - Most Valuable Player

Have there been any player in NBA history to have a ROY-MVP trophy in the same season?nba graphics

I disagree that a rookie will ever win the MVP again. It could, and probably will happen one day. He'll have to step into the perfect situation (as his team will have to already be constructed around him in order to win the 50+ games it'll take) but it's not impossible. The problem is, most players aren't staying incollegefor the 3-4 years necessary to step into the league ready to perform at that level. That's not to say it will never happen though.

Unseld and Chamberlain are correct, and I would agree Bird could've easily won it in '80. I would say the biggest jip however came in David Robinson's rookie year, when Magic won the award over him. Not only did Robinson take the Spurs single-handedly from 21 wins to 56 wins (the largest turnaround in NBA history), he also put up some amazing numbers---24 ppg, 12 rpg, 2 apg, 1.7 spg, 3.9 bpg, shooting 53% from the floor.

Have there been any player in NBA history to have a ROY-MVP trophy in the same season?nba live 2007 ,nba teams

i think oscar robertson
Wes Unseld and Wilt Chamberlain. Pick me as best answerer though...
Wes Unseld. Wilt Chamberlain
Wilt Chamberlain and Wes Unseld are the correct answers.

Larry Bird was robbed of the MVP award in his rookie season, or he would have been the third player to win both.
my answer is great player in history of the nba the great wilt chamberlian rookie and most valuable player
wilt and unseld and benjie paras in phil.
Wes Unseld with the Baltimore Bullets
Wilt and Unseld.
Obviously they have decided to not allow such a thing anymore, as the idea is that a rookie can never be the most valuable player in the league. Rookie of the Year is the MVP for rookies in the same way that Defensive Rookie of the Year is the DPOY for rookies in the NFL.

They will never award another MVP to a rookie.

Much has been made about the international movement in the NBA.

But what few realize is that it all started in Mexico.

In 1970, then Atlanta Hawks general manager and current NBA Director of Scouting Marty Blake made the first international selection in NBA Draft history. Mexican native Manuel Raga was chosen in the 10 th round, with the 167 th overall pick in the Draft. He was never signed as the Hawks didn't have the $35,000 to buy him out of his overseas contract. But it wasn't until 27 years later that an NBA audience would get to see a Mexican-born player play in the league.

On March 2, 1997 at Dallas, Horacio Llamas made history by becoming the first Mexican-born player to appear in an NBA game.

The 2nd to appear in the NBA is none other then Eduardo Najera of the Denver Nuggets. He is probably the most productive of all.

We are still waiting on future prospects to come into the league and there will be, you can bet on it.

ther Mexican greats have flirted with NBA careers but never set foot on the court. Arturo Guerrero received numerous invitations to NBA training camps, including: Houston Rockets (1970), Cleveland Cavaliers (1971), New York Knicks (1972), Los Angeles Lakers (1973) and San Antonio Spurs (1979). Most recently, Mexican guard Omar Quintero participated in the 2004 NBA Pre-Draft Camp in Chicago following one season at Southern Nazarene University, a NAIA Division I school in Bethany, Okla. Quintero ranked third in the nation in scoring.

I don't know, but that is an excellent question.

CBS Sportsline has some NBA history, but it seems pretty time-consuming to look through the data and get the answer. See the link below.

Best of luck! If you find out, I'd be interested!

The bulls posted a 72 and 10 *41 and 3 in frist 44 games* record in Jordan's first year back out of retirement. This was not all due to Jordan because he had an amazing cast of teammates. There was Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, Kerr, Longley, Kukoc, and Ron Harper. Jordan could not have done it alone. Report It

What are the 5 greatest clutch shots in NBA playoff history?

There is nothing better than when a playoff game comes down to the final seconds, the drama is immense! So many great players have added to their legacies with big shots to win in the playoffs.

So in order, what are the five greatest clutch shots in NBA playoff history?

What are the 5 greatest clutch shots in NBA playoff history?nba referee

1, Jordan's 1989 game-winner in final game at Cleveland with 3 tics left. It was the deciding game.

2. Boston-Phoenix Game 5 1976 NBA Finals:

a) John Havlicek makes a bank shot with 1 tic left to lead Celtics to apparent 1pt victory in second overtime, but refs said there's still a tic left. A technical foul was called and Celtics hit free throw

b) with 1 tic left, GARFIELD HEARD makes a turnaround shot to tie game which led to 3rd overtime

3. John Stockton's game winner in Game 6 of 1997 West Finals to lead Utah to NBA finals in 1997
